Dave is a Finnish & Thai director and cinematographer based between Helsinki and Lisbon, known for emotionally resonant and narrative-driven work. Balancing Nordic restraint with raw human intensity, his films explore belonging, identity and the poetry within everyday life.

Every frame has to earn its place by being human first. Raw enough to feel real, honest enough to feel personal, and still landing somewhere elegant.

A lifetime of writing and playing music shapes how he cuts a scene, while years of modelling, living abroad and shooting analog photography sharpened his eye for movement and the small human details that make a story feel lived-in.

With a background spanning commercial and editorial direction, he has collaborated with O'Neill, YSL, Ralph Lauren, Versace, Loewe and Dior (features. Slimi Magazine), Zo-on Iceland, Zara, Saints at Sea, Sony Music Entertainment Finland, Lapoint, Alite Vivere and Zweifel. When he's not on set, he's usually near the ocean, busy catching waves.
